In 1931 she married William James Holm. He was born in 1907 [Birth Index: Romford 4a 578, 1907 (June)]. Their marriage certificate [Marriage Index: W. Ham 4a 158, 1931 (June)] states that they married at the Christ Church in Leyton Parish on June 28th 1931. She is described as a spinster aged 22 occupied as a packer, and he as a bachelor aged 24 occupied as a shop assistant. Her father is described as a motor driver and his, James Holm, as a grocer and provision merchant. Her place of residence was 87, Pearcroft Road in Leytonstone, and his was 244, Higham Hill in Walthamstow. The witnesses were her father and Charles Augustus Pittuck whose connection is unknown. A relative reports that on June 3rd 1933, in the W. Ham district, Charles Augustus married Gladys Marjorie Holm, who was the sister of William James and was born on June 21st 1908 [Birth Index: Paddington 1a 50, 1908 (Sept)].
