The 1891 Census her at age "11" living with her parents at 8, Clark's Terrace in Hackney.
The 1901 Census her at age 20 living with her parents at 56, Chatham Place and occupied in their laundry business.
She married George Joseph Spencer in 1911 [Marriage Index: Hackney 1b 895, 1911 (June)]. He may have been related to the Violet Harriet Spencer who married Ruth (1)'s cousin Ernest Henry in 1920.
Nothing more is currently known of her.
A relative reports that Ruth (1) did have a son named George. The birth reference above suggests that George S. Spencer was born around the same time that Ruth (1) married. It has not yet been proved that she was indeed his mother, because GRO birth references prior to the 1911 (Sept) quarter do not include maternal maiden names.
