Russell Dean Woodhurst was born in Hannibal, Marion Co., Missouri on October 9th 1952 to parents Hazzard Willie Woodhurst and his wife Dorothy Lee (nee) Clary.

He married on September 13th 1974 to Kathryn Elaine Alexander. She was born on December 6th 1953.

In the mid-1990s he was living in Center, Ralls Co., Missouri.

He died in Columbia, Boone Co., Missouri on April 11th 2013 and was buried at the Lick Creek Cemetery in Perry, Ralls Co.
