Jessamine Lilian Woodhurst was born in 1911 to parents Walter Arthur Frederick Woodhurst and his second partner Emma Undrill. Her parents were not married at that time, but they did marry three years later. Her birth certificate [Birth Index: W. Ham 4a 816, 1911 (Sept)] states that she was born at her parents' address 203, Shernhall Street, Walthamstow on June 7th 1911. Her father was occupied as a coal porter and her mother was the informant.
She married Henry F. Wise in 1933 [Marriage Index: W. Ham 4a 149, 1933 (Dec)]. He was probably born in 1911 [Birth Index: W. Ham 4a 643, 1911 (Dec)].
