Jeff Hopke Woodhurst was born to parents Walter Willie Woodhurst and his wife Velma Mae Hopke. He was born at Perry Township in Ralls County, Missouri on October 23rd 1918.
Relatives report that he married Lula K. (nee) Vestal on July 12th 1947. Lula was born on February 29th 1920 at Hutchinson, Reno County in Kansas, the daughter of Louis Vestal and his wife Anna (nee) Coie. She first married Floyd Lieurance by whom she had two children. Floyd died from coronary failure in 1943.
The American Social Security Death Index states that Jeff Hopke died on October 1st "1964", and confirms his birthdate. However, a relative's report gives the date of death as October 1st 1967. This latter report further states that Jeff Hopke was killed by a train while he was working on an overpass at Mexico, Audrain County in Missouri, and that he was buried on October 4th 1967 at the Center Cemetery in Center, Ralls County.

Jeff Rodney and Jean produced two children, Jeff Scott Woodhurst (born February 16th 1974 at Hannibal) and Jason Ashley Woodhurst (born April 30th 1975 at Hannibal). They subsequently divorced.
Jeff Scott married Jamie Lynn Pfaff (born September 16th 1976) on December 23rd 1995. They produced two children.
Jason Ashley married Jeanna Sue (nee?) Camp (born April 29th 1968) on August 25th 1996 and produced a son. He also has a stepdaughter.
