Hilbert Earl Woodhurst was born to John Elmer Woodhurst and his wife Anna Elizabeth (nee Morris) on September 11th 1905 in the city of Richmond, Wayne Co. in Indiana.
The US 1920 Census finds him at age "14" living with his parents in Richmond.
He married at Brighton, Adams Co, Colorado on April 27th 1928 to Elizabeth Sarah (nee) Barnes [FHL: Film No. 001690151].
The US 1930 Census finds him and Elizabeth living in Denver, Colorado in his father's household at 1426, Humboldt Street. He was occupied in bookkeeping at a motor company.
The US 1940 Census finds him living with Elizabeth and their baby son Richard, aged "1", at 2245, South High Street. He was employed as an office manager for a music company.
His Draft Registration Card, issued in about 1941, gives his place of employment as the Knight-Campbell Music Company at 1617, California Street in Denver.
He died on March 20th 1944 and was buried at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Wheat Ridge, Jefferson Co., Colorado. Nothing is known of the circumstances of this early death.
It is not known what became of Elizabeth.
