George Clarence Woodhurst was born at Abbeville, SC on December 9th 1903 of parents Andrew Kennedy Woodhurst and his wife Martha Ann Fortescue.
The US 1910 Census finds him at age 5 living with his parents in Abbeville township.
He married Eddie Mae Smith. She was born on July 3rd 1908 and died - probably in Union township of Union County in SC - in June 1982. Her obituary was published on June 30th 1982 in The Spartanburg Herald and Herald Journal.
George Clarence died - probably also in Union township - on July 31st 1990. His obituary was published on August 1st 1990 in the above-cited newspaper. His and Eddie's dates of birth and death are drawn from the American Social Security Death Index.
