Andrew (2) Woodus was born to parents Andrew (1) Woodus and his wife Ann(e). He was christened on November 7th 1718 [Fairlight Parish Register].
He appears to have married "Constant Forster" [sic] on June 11th 1747 [Guestling Parish Register]. Her forename appears in other records as Constance or Constantia. Her correct surname was almost certainly Foster, a name having several occurrences in the local registers.
Constance was buried on June 25th 1779 [Fairlight Parish Register]. It appears that Andrew (2) then remarried to Elizabeth Holloway on May 3rd 1780 [Sussex Marriage Register]. He was probably the Andrew Woodus who was buried on September 10th 1795 [Fairlight Parish Register].

* This is the parish register's pre-1752 Julian Calendar date whereby each new year began on March 25th. She was thus christened in the year we now regard as 1748, about nine months after her parents had married.
Although all these Woodus children had parents named Andrew and Constance, it cannot be proved that they were all children of a single Andrew-and-Constance couple. However, the christening dates are compatible with them being so.
Elizabeth (2) appears to have married John Steavens [sic] on March 25th 1781 [Fairlight Parish Register]; the witnesses were William Kennan [sic] and William Morris. The former witness may actually have been the William Kennard of Guestling who married a Constance Woodus (origins unknown) on May 20th 1777 [Fairlight Parish Register]. William Morris was possibly related to the presumed wife Susannah Morris of William (1) Woodus. John appears to have remarried to a Philly Woodhurst on February 19th 1822 [Fairlight Parish Register].
