The last Will and Testament of Andrew (1) Woodus was made by him in 1745 and left most of his estate to his surviving children. It was witnessed by Thomas Jackson, Thomas Dalton and J. Thayor all of whose connections are unknown. He was buried on April 15th 1747 and the Will was proved on May 2nd 1747.

This is the last Will and Testament of me Andrew Woodus of Fairlight in the County of Sussex, Yeoman, touching the disposition of my real and personal estate.
In first place I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Ann Woodus the use and occupation of the furniture of my best chamber for and during the term of her natural life and from and after her decease I give and bequeath the same unto my son Andrew Woodus.
Also I give and bequeath unto my son Edmund Woodus the sum of one shilling over and above what he will be entitled unto by virtue of my marriage settlement.
Also I give and bequeath unto my daughter Elizabeth Cramp the sum of twenty shillings.
Also I give and bequeath unto my said son Andrew Woodus the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid unto him by my Executors herein after named withon twelve months after my decease.
Also I give and bequeath unto my grand-daughter Elizabeth Cramp the sum of twenty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid unto her by my Executors herein after named when she shall acquire her age of one and twenty years.
Also I give and devise unto my sons William Woodus and Bunyan Woodus all my messuages lands and tenements whatsoever and wheresoever to have and to hold unto my said sons William Woodus and Bunyan Woodus their heirs and assigns for ever as Tenants in Common. And I do hereby charge all my said messuages lands and tenements with the payment of my just debts and legacies aforesaid.
Also all the rest residue and remainder of my personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever I give and bequeath unto my said sons William Woodus and Bunyon Woodus equally to be divided between them share and share alike. And I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said sons William Woodus and Bunyan Woodus executors of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby revoke and make void all former wills by me heretofor made and declare this and only this to be my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof I the said Andrew Woodus the Testator have to this my last Will and Testament contained in one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this twelfth day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred forty and five.
Signed sealed published and declared by the said Andrew Woodus as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who have subscribed our names as witnesses hereto in the presence of the said Testator.
