According to her sister Nora (1) she was the essence of the latter's grandmother Emma (1) (nee Stubbs).
The National Register for England and Wales 1939 finds them living at 113, Church Road in Woking, Surrey; Jim was occupied as an aircraft fitter assembler.
Jim died in late 1991 [Death Index: Bolton 38 255, 1991 (Nov) : DOB 13JE1913].
Frances Emma (1) died in hospital at age 89 on April 5th 2003 [Death Index: Bolton C73A 002/1C No.4 : DOB 4DE1913]. Her funeral took place on April 22nd at Peel Cemetery.
