James (7) Hogger was born in 1844 to parents James (3) Hogger and his wife Sarah (nee) Snell [Birth Index: Cosford 12 334, 1844 (Dec)]. He was christened on February 2nd 1845 at Lavenham [PR: Cosford DB].
The 1851 Census finds him living with his parents in Church Street, Lavenham.
The 1861 Census finds him at age "16" living with his parents in Church Street where he was occupied as a wheelwright.
The 1871 Census finds him at age "26" and unmarried, still living with his parents in Church Street and occupied as a wheelwright.
In 1878 he married Susanna(h) Woodgate [Marriage Index: Lewisham 1d 932, 1878 (March)]. She was the daughter of Richard Woodgate and his wife Hannah (nee) Bean, and was christened on January 8th 1843 at Acton [PR: Cosford DB].
It seems highly improbable that James (7) and Susanna would have married in Lewisham, as no really close relations appear to have been there at that time. Perhaps the GRO indexers misread "Lavenham" as "Lewisham".
The 1881 Census finds him living with his wife and first child at Church Street in Lavenham, together with his sister Susanna Phoebe (1) and his mother-in-law Hannah. His occupation was wheelwright.
The 1891 Census finds him living with his wife, three children and a niece, still at Church Street and again occupied as a wheelwright.
The 1901 Census finds him living with his wife and two daughters at 7, Church Street and again occupied as a wheelwright.
Susannah died at age "59" in 1904 [Death Index: Cosford 4a 496, 1904 (Dec)]. She died on November 14th at Lavenham and was buried at the cemetery there, in Grave No. 232, on November 21st [PR: Cosford DB].

All three daughters above were christened at Lavenham [PR: Cosford DB].

The 1901 Census finds Minnie Evelyn (1) at age "17" living with her parents in Lavenham.
