Annie Elizabeth (1) Hogger was born in 1872 at Groton to parents Benjamin (1) Hogger and his wife Georgianna Adelaide (nee) Golding. The GRO reference is [Birth Index: Cosford 4a 498, 1872 (Sept)].
The 1881 Census finds her at age 8 living with her parents in Groton.
The 1891 Census finds her at age 18 working as a housemaid at 101, Denmark Hill in Camberwell, London in the household of an unmarried 74-year-old County Court Judge named John J. Powell.
In 1895 she married William (1) McCullough in London [Marriage Index: Kensington 1a 384, 1895 (Sept)]. He was born in Ireland around 1868-69. Four years previously he had been working as a servant and domestic coachman at "The Stables Wychester" in Caversham, Oxfordshire (then a well-to-do village just north of Reading and now lying within Berkshire) [UK 1891 Census]. It is not known how they came to meet.
The 1901 Census finds them and their first two children - both born at Groton - living at Waldon Cottage Stables in Harrow Weald, Middlesex where William (1) was occupied as a coachman.
Nothing more is currently known of her.
